Dominic has progressed through the firm from tax manager to becoming our second tax partner in 2007. Dominic has a broad range of experience covering all aspects of personal and company taxation issues and has a detailed specialist knowledge of VAT, Inheritance tax and Capital Gains tax planning issues and dealing with complex HMRC tax investigations.
Dominic has two children and lives in the Cheltenham area.
Keith W Felton FCA

KFelton@berkeleyhamilton.co.ukKeith established Berkeley Hamilton in 1982, having moved to Cheltenham following his qualification as a chartered accountant with a national firm in Birmingham. Keith has since developed a wide range of experience from strategic planning and corporate finance to tax planning and business advice issues. He is well known to his clients as a "lateral thinker" and can be relied upon to assist clients with a wide range of business problems.
Keith is married with five children and is an advanced powerboat Instructor for the RYA and a commercial skipper for power driven vessels in his spare time.
Robert Lewis FCA

RLewis@berkeleyhamilton.co.ukBob qualified as a chartered accountant with an international practice in 1986 spending eight years with them before moving to a to a large provincial practice in Bath, gaining experience in dealing with a range of smaller clients. Bob joined Berkeley Hamilton in 1998. His experience covers sole traders to multi national groups. He has many years of experience in the audit of companies covering many specialist aspects such as Charities, Solicitors and FSA regulated businesses. Bob now focuses on the small to medium size business, dealing with a variety of business issues.
Bob is married with two children and lives locally in the Gloucester area. He spends his spare time playing golf and is a keen photographer.
Robert Van Ryssen FCCA

RVanRyssen@berkeleyhamilton.co.ukRob joined the firm in 1995. Since joining Rob, qualified as a certified accountant in 1999 and was promoted to audit and accounts manager in 2004. He was subsequently promoted to associate in 2007. Rob has a varied knowledge of a wide variety of businesses from sole trade to groups of companies. He has developed a close working relationship with clients and continues to expand his technical knowledge covering many aspects including corporate finance, due diligence and related areas.
Rob is married with two children and lives in the Cheltenham area. As his children are getting older Rob is hoping to be able to find more time to return to his previous interests of cycling and golf.
Tom Baines FCA

TBaines@berkeleyhamilton.co.ukTom trained with a Regional practice in Swindon, before moving to an international Firm for a number of years. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986. Tom subsequently joined a regional practice in Somerset, where he became a Corporate Partner, prior to joining Berkeley Hamilton in 2008. Tom's 25 years in practice has given him the specialist knowledge and experience in accountancy, audit and tax matters for Owner Managed Business's .He has also developed a specialist knowledge on the practical and tax efficient use of Trusts within the business environment and for Family wealth management.
Tom has two children and lives in the Bath area and is a keen golfer.
